Paradise Valley Cemetery

Some of this information came from walking the cemetery during the summer of 1998. Other information came from obituaries, stating that they had been buried in Paridise Valley Cem. Still more (including most of the relationships and the burial locations) came from an old microfilm in the Idaho State Archives, stating that the information came from Mrs. Mayme Wigginton, who had lived in Bonners Ferry since 1915 and had been in charge of the PV Cem records for many years. This microfilm was filmed in the early 1970's.

The cemetery records for Paradise Valley Cemetery are very imcomplete. Several years ago a retiring sexton refused to give up the records. They have never been recovered, so the only information known is what is on the headstones. Many of the older graves are unmarked, or incomplete. The current sexton is very helpful, and can sometimes put you in touch with other members of the family you are researching.
