DONALD "DON" JAY WASHBURN
April 23, 1928 ~ October 26, 2016
Donald Jay Washburn passed away on October 26, 2016 in Vancouver, WA.
He was born in Bonner's Ferry, ID to Helen (Mace) and John Washburn.
Don was a Carman and Derrick engineer for the BN Railroad for more than 40 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, clam digging, gardening, woodworking and tinkering around the house. He was known to have 2 of every tool made.
Don is survived by his daughter, Sandra Washburn; grandson, Gavin (Shannon) Washburn; granddaughters, Jeanette (Travis) Price and Anjee (Tom) Neeley; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and son, Donald Jr.
Viewing at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Nov. 3rd, 12-9p.m. with the service on Fri., Nov 4th at 12:30p.m. Burial to follow at Memory Memorial Park, 6906 NE 144th St., Vancouver, WA.
Donations may be made to the Moose Lodge or the Cancer Society.
