Helen W. Roberts, 82
Helen W. Roberts, 82, Port St. Lucie, Florida, died March 29, 2005, at St Lucie Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry, with Reverend Ken Green of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church officiating. Internment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.
She was born in Bonners Ferry, and made her home in Port St. Lucie since moving from Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1972. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Idaho and her Master of Arts from Butler University in Indianapolis. She taught at Butler University, Indiana University and Indian River Community College. Prior to her retirement, she and her husband owned and operated, the Port St. Lucie Florist and A Goode Florist in Stuart.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Women of Wall Street, and a charter member of the Port St. Lucie Business Women’s Club. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Arthur Roberts; sons Mark Roberts, San Diego, California, and Scott Roberts, Collegeville, Pennsylvania; daughter Brooke Roberts, Alexandria, Virginia; and grandson Joseph Roberts.
