Cora Parker Succumbs
Cora M. Parker, 84, died on Wednesday, January 3, in the Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry.
Services were held Saturday, January 6 at 10 a.m. in the Jensen-Malone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Nelson officiating.Burial followed at the Grandview Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker was born June 13, 1894, in Warren, Minn.She was married to Russell Parker in November of 1916 in Wilson Creek, Wash., where they lived until moving to Bonners Ferry in 1923.
Cora was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Trinity Lutheran church.She worked for many years as a cook in the school and restaurants.
She is survivied by two children; Dorothy M. Taber of San Carlos, Calif., and Dwain K. Parker of Tenino, Wash., also by four grandchildren.Also surviving are two sisters, hannah and Eula Mickelson of San Francisco.She was preceded in death by her husband in August of 1959.
