At the age of 86, Lucille E. Myers, of Post Falls, passed away Feb. 1, 2011, at Life Care Center in Post Falls.
At Lucille's request there will be no services. Lucille will be laid to rest at the McArthur Idaho Cemetery.
She was born April 16, 1924, to Ziba A. and Mary (Tombrink) McArthur in McArthur, a settlement named after her grandfather.
She graduated from Bonners Ferry High School and shortly after graduation she went to work for the Idaho First National Bank.
She and Harold B. Myers were married during 1964.
When his work took him to Coeur d'Alene they moved to Coeur d'Alene and Lucille continued working in the banking business in Post Falls until going to work for the state of Idaho in the Department of Health and Welfare.
After retiring from that department she spent more than 20 winters in Arizona and enjoyed every one. She always enjoyed gardening and took much pride in her yard and garden.
Lucille is survived by a sister, Marie Muir of Kingston; nieces and nephews, Kara McKnight, Kathy Burris, Jon McArthur and Kelly McArthur; as well as great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She always had so much love and respect for her neighbors - John and Deana Palmer and much appreciation goes to them for all the care and help they gave over the years.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold in June 1998; a sister, Ruby Trippe of Spokane, Wash., May 2008 and a brother, John McArthur of Kent, Wash., October 2002.
English Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Post Falls is in charge of the cremation.
