Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth Jones Miller, 69, of 102 Ridge Road, Camden, N. C., died Tuesday, July
10, 2007, at Norfolk Sentara General Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born in Hagerstown, Md., the daughter of the late William J. Jones and Delores
Shoaf Jones, and the wife of Roger A. Miller.
She was a member of the River Queens. Besides her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by three
daughters, Katherine Miller of Ashburn, Va., Debra Weland of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and
Michelle Stone of Camden; three sisters, Kathryn Sue Weiss of Sharpsburg, Md., Linda Nastick
of Ashburn, and Lori Ann Eilers of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Grover Jones of
Wachapreque, Va., and William Jones of Centerville, Va.; five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son, Roger A. Miller Jr.; and one brother, Albert Jones; and one
grandson, Richard P. Bennett-Weland.
A private service will be held Friday, July 20, at 5 p.m. on the Chesapeake Bay, Md. Twifords
Funeral Home, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, N.C., is assisting the family. To signe the
