Kermitt Michael Fodge, 43, passed away on July 18, 2005, in Paradise Valley near Bonners Ferry. Memorial services were held July 23 at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lowell Carlson officiating Inurnment followed at Grandview Cemetery.
Kermitt was born in Rogue River, Oregon, January 22, 1962, to Tommie and Joyce Fodge.
He moved to Boundary County as a child, attendeding Valley View and Bonners Ferry High School.
On July 21, 1983, Kermitt married Robyn Price in Bonners Ferry, and they made their home on Northside, later moving to Moyie Springs, where they raised their three children.
After leaving high school Kermitt went to work in the woods, and after several years he lwent to work at the LP Mill.
While at LP, he worked many positions and he also learned how to operate the different equipment there, a job he greatly enjoyed. Kermitt enjoyed working with and riding horses, sports and John Wayne movies.
Kermitt is survived by his wife Robyn, three children, Michael, Nichole and Ethan Fodge, all of Bonners Ferry; mother Joyce Alterman, Othello, Washington; brothers Sam, Glen and Zane Fodge, all of Bonners Ferry, and Tommie Dennison, Othello, Washington; sisters Janice Farley, Othello, Amy Marcantel, Iraq, Pam Gall, Illinois, Candy Tremonti, Kansas City, Kansas, and Heather Andrews, Bonners Ferry.
Kermitt was preceded in death by his father, his sister Joyce, and his favorite uncle, Paul Fodge.
