          Darrell Dean Doering, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in Elmira, Idaho.
          Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 19th at the Bonners Ferry
Seventh Day Adventist Church with private inurnment to be held at the McArthur Cemetery.
          Darrell was born on June 8, 1937 in Gordon, Nebraska, the son of Emmett and Verleda
(Schwarting) Doering.
          He moved with his family to Loma Linda, California in 1947 and attended
school at the Red Lands High School.
          Darrell married Ruth Rorer on November 20, 1954 in Yuma, Arizona. They resided in Loma
Linda, Ca. for 40 years, and Darrell worked as a Brick Mason for 45 years.
          He retired in 1999 and moved to Naples, Idaho.
          Darrell enjoyed helping people, volunteering his time and talents.
          He was preceded in death by his parents and son; Danny.
          Survivors include his wife, Ruth Doering of Naples, Id.; daughter, Deana Thompson of Rialto,
Calif; sons, Wally Doering of Yuciapa, Ca. and Dale Doering of Naples, Id.; four brothers, Roger
Doering of Naples, Id., Emmett, Jerome, and John Doering of California; four sisters, Phyllis
Brunt, Margaret Brown, Patricia Alexander and Barbara Lujan all in southern California; 12
grandchildren: Nathan Underwood, Jacob Morgan, Eric Doering, Scott Doering, Danika Doering,
Mary Doering, Spencer Doering, Daniel Doering, Edwin Doering Summer Doering Sara Doering
and Travis Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.


          Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint, Idaho is handling the arrangements.
