Jesse Baldwin Coeur d’Alene
At his request, no service is planned for Jesse W. Baldwin, 69. Mr. Baldwin died Thursday at Coeur d’Alene Convalescent Center. Yates Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born in Meridian, Miss., and grew up and attended school in Charleston, N.C.
Mr. Baldwin was in the Navy during World War II. He married Claudia Morice in 1946 and they settled in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1963 and, after more than 24 years of service, retired from the Idaho Transportation Department.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Sandra Doyle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and nine brothers and sisters.
