Ancient City of Crossport
"Mayor" Woodruff; of Cross-
port, moved out this week. He says
that Crossport has evaporated and
passed into history, there being but
few people left, He says that in
years to come passengers on the
Great Northern trains will have
the few relics that remain of the
once populous city pointed out to
them as one of the curiosities on
the line, and that their further at-
tention will be directed to the fact
that during its brief existence it
was one of the wildest and wooliest
towns in the northwest.
